Insulated boxes designed to keep food and beverage cold have a variety of names used by people in different countries. IceBox Coolers are insulated boxes that are generically called Eskys (Eskies) in Australia, Chilli Bins in NZ and Coolers (or Ice Cooler) in most other places.

Polyethylene (Plastic) Vs Fibreglass Ice Boxes

A Fibreglass ice box looks great, with a smooth, gloss finish and they are easy to clean. The downside is that they a reasonably brittle and damage easily. A fibreglass cooler also usually does not have an extra thick lid, which is important for good insulation. 

An IceBox Cooler polyethylene (plastic) ice box does have a double thickness lid for great ice holding qualities. They are also very tough. The finish of a polyethylene ice box is usually less that that of a fibreglass cooler however the quality of the plastic finish can vary enormously between different manufactures.
